AFTER HOURS: Intro to Knife Making

Service Description

Learn how to make your own custom knife from start to finish in a total of 12 hours over the course of 6 classes. Join us on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8pm for 3 consecutive weeks and walk away with the extensive knowledge and know-how of creating a quality custom knife. Start at the very beginning of the stock removal process in your own fully equipped station, using state-of-the-art tools & equipment in a small group setting. All materials and instructions are included. Note: You MUST be able to attend all the classes as each day entails a step of the process that cannot be missed and the rest of the class must continue moving forward. If you need to miss a class for any reason, please contact us beforehand to plan for and schedule a private make-up class (additional cost of $150) PRIOR to the group's next scheduled class. Cancellation Policy

Please be aware that we rely on our classes, courses and workshops being attended when you are scheduled in. Last-minute cancellations and the loss of revenue associated with those create drastic challenges for us. Despite our wishes, we must implement cancellation/no-show policies that provide an incentive for students to attend their scheduled courses and registered events, as well as prevents our small company from dealing with frequent loss of revenue. Thank you kindly for your grace and understanding in this situation. CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THE AFTER-HOURS PROGRAM: This is an educational program requiring student registration. We require a minimum of 14 days notice if you are unable to attend the After-Hours Program you have registered for. In the event of cancellation or no-show on the part of the student (due to no fault of ours) with less than 14 days of notice, we reserve the right to keep 50% of the value of the course. The remaining 50% may be used as a credit towards a future course or workshop OR as credit towards retail items in our store. Any remaining balance or gift certificate for this program must be used in its entirety by the expiration date listed on the certificate or in the promotion. If you are unable to attend one of the required classes during your scheduled program, please let us know as soon as possible. If you wish to continue moving forward in the program, you will be required to attend an AHP Make-Up Class prior to the next scheduled class in the course. The cost for this class is $150 and will be a private one-on-one with Alessio (the instructor) to get you caught up. In the event of a cancellation on our part (due only to severe illness, an accident, or emergency) we will do our best to reschedule the class or program in a timely manner and strive to do right by any student impacted by the cancellation. We vow to always communicate any scheduling changes as quickly and clearly as possible.
