Whetstone Sharpening Workshop

This 3-hour intensive class will include a take-home kit and focus on the theory and practical techniques used to properly sharpen with a whetstone system. Having Alessio, our professional blacksmith and knife maker, teach you how to sharpen WHILE being able to observe and correct your technique will likely answer a lot of the questions about why you may have not found success in the past. Student must bring a knife (under 10" blade) to sharpen and practice with - ideally 6-8". If you are unsure of what the best knife is to start with, bring the blades you are considering and we will help you find the right fit.
